Project Colossians 1:18

1. Core Message
- Christ Alone is Head – Colossians 1:18 confirms that no human institution, denomination, or government holds authority over the true body of Christ.
- The Warning of History – From the Great Schism to 501(c)(3) compliance, history shows how man-made systems compromise biblical authority.
- Spiritual Discernment – The modern church often serves the state rather than Christ, silencing truth and preparing the way for the digital control systems tied to Revelation 13:16–18.

1. Salvation as a Free Gift
According to scripture, salvation cannot be earned or bought — it is entirely a gift from God:
- “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8–9 KJV)
This means no amount of tithing, donations, or offerings has any bearing on one’s salvation.
2. Why Pastors Still Push Offerings
Despite salvation being free, many pastors — especially those under 501(c)(3) incorporation — continue to push offerings for several reasons:
- Institutional Costs: They have mortgages, staff salaries, building upkeep, utilities, and multimedia expenses to cover. The incorporated structure treats the “church” more like a business.
- Tax-Exempt Framework: The 501(c)(3) status creates a legal contract between the church and the government, often shifting priorities toward financial compliance and growth metrics.
- Tradition and Pressure: For generations, congregations have been conditioned to view offering as a sign of obedience or spiritual health — sometimes equating giving with blessings or avoiding curses (e.g., misapplied teachings of Malachi 3:10).
- Silence Through Dependency: Heavy financial dependence on member contributions can discourage pastors from speaking boldly on controversial topics — including government overreach, Real ID, or Revelation 13 warnings — for fear of losing donors or violating IRS speech restrictions.
3. Spiritual Conflict
This dynamic often leads to what you’ve observed — offerings being presented almost forcefully, even though the New Testament model was voluntary:
- “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7 KJV)
In other words, the true church gives out of love, not obligation or pressure, and certainly not because of a corporate contract.
4. The Bigger Picture
Many believers are beginning to see that institutional churches, especially those under 501(c)(3), often prioritize financial systems over spiritual freedom. This tension is what drives movements toward house churches, unincorporated fellowships, or independent gatherings that focus solely on Christ as the head (Colossians 1:18).

- Romans 13 is often preached as “just submit to government authority.” But if a church incorporates under 501(c)(3), it’s voluntarily binding itself to government restrictions—essentially shifting its authority away from Christ as head (Colossians 1:18). That is a deception, because Romans 13 does not command surrendering the church’s independence to the state.
- Digital giving and tithing may look convenient, but in reality, it conditions believers to accept a cashless financial system. That’s exactly what Revelation 13:16–18 warns about: a system of control over buying and selling.

Most Americans believe Real ID is just a state or federal program, but the truth is deeper. Behind the system stands Idemia, a French-based corporation entrusted with your personal data and funded with American taxpayer dollars. This image is a warning that Real ID is not simply about compliance—it is about control, profit, and surrendering freedoms to a foreign contractor. As Ezekiel 33:6 reminds us, the watchman must sound the alarm, or the blood is on his hands.
